REXUS presented at WEFE Nexus Science Advances Conference

Aiming to help close the gap between science and policy in natural resources management, the WEFE Nexus Science Advances Conference, was organized by the European Commission (Joint Research Centre and DG Research and Innovation), the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) and the Cyprus Institute (CyI), on 27-29 September 2021.

The Conference sought to facilitate Partnerships between policy makers, practitioners and scientists in order to identify best practices and solutions across the Nexus. It shared recommendations on practical measures on how to integrate new paths in research and planning, through a collaborative response throughout the Mediterranean region.

In the frame of identifying best practices in Nexus management, the REXUS project was presented in a dedicated poster session, by Dr. José González Piqueras, Professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
